So, my Daz Studio files somehow got corrupted. I'm sure I moved something somewhere that I shouldn't have.  Have no idea what. After hours of trying to figure out what, I had to delete and do a clean install, including the massive runtimes.  I am glad my stuff was backed up, otherwise that would be a lot of time and resources lost.

So, I've been working on large group shot. I'm still very new to digital work, and quite frankly, "art" in general.  For me, having multiple figures in a single render is ambitious.  Perhaps too much so, since I've clearly made a rookie mistake.  I've created an an entire scene at once and having been going through posing and lighting iterations with test renders.  And, then it hit me. I should have posed and set the figures in separate test renders and saved the figures for a final merge.  I am sure my computer hates me for making it work so hard rendering seven characters at a time.  whoops. Live and learn.

Do you find that you return to the same few characters and poses? Part of it seems to be a rut that you get into and an easier path through the familiar, but part of it is almost a sense of connecting with one or two of your characters.  Even though I have about a dozen different characters for Daz's V4, I find myself returning to Danae's Milan and Phoenix's Maeve.   And, its not even the quality of the textures as some of the other figures are by the same designers and the same, if not better, quality.  There's just something about their look.
